Vintage Video on You Tubes and New Album Update

In 2003 we put together a video for one of our classic tracks, 'You Sold Your Records (1983)', it was never seen publically. It has now been re-mastered and uploaded to the You Tubes! View it here:



All hand-made and DIY, just like the new video and album....

...The new video for the lead-off 'single' from 'Hard Freeze' is called 'Lyin' To Me' and is in post-production as we speak, hopefully on the Tubes in a few days.

The album, 'Hard Freeze' is musically finished, mixed and mastered and is awaiting artwork finishing and production. Estimated release is in about 3 weeks.

13 brand new tracks (well, coupla old-ish ones in there) for you to salivate over.

Today, Sunday 16th September, marks one year since we lost Vicky. I wrote this poem some time ago. Hopefully it will help you understand how I feel, how we feel...

If only we could have one more day

If only I could travel back in time

If only I could hold you once again

If only I could see your beautiful face

If only we could cuddle on asda escalators again



If only I’d used the phone at midday

If only I’d insisted on driving there

If only I’d not trusted my instincts

If only the doctors had seen it before

If only the car was back on the drive

New Cheesemakers Appearance

The Cheesemakers will be appearing at a charity event (we only do 'charidee' these days) at the following event. Come and support it.

Saturday 1st December, The Wheatsheaf, West Boldon
In aid of Cancer Research and Genesis Research Trust.

The Cheesemakers will be performing a set consisting of new material from the very forthcoming album, 'Hard Freeze' and old favourites.

New Cheesemakers Album News!

Hi folks
After a 2 month hiatus due to illness, the final stages of the new Cheesemakers album are being under-taken. All 13 tracks are in the can, despite the original idea to limit it to 10 tracks (It's Geoff's fault :O) and all that remains is mixing, mastering, artwork and production.

NEW MUSIC ON THE WAY

Well finally, after a few...delays...I am prepared and ready to begin recording on two fronts. Firstly, next Monday 6th February will hopefully see the beginning of recording for the next Cheesemakers long player, loosely titled 'Hard Freeze'.

And secondly, on Friday night gone I commenced recording on the next solo offering, the follow up to 'Words Falling On The Page'. This album has a title but I'm keeping it to myself for now.

As I've made predictions down the years that expire and get laughed at, I shall make no such predictions here, but will say they'll be out when they're out and not before.

As for how great they will be, that's guaranteed folks! :O)
